Avantasia directamente al nº 2 en los charts germanos. No está nada mal.
Tobias Sammet commented on his highest chart entry ever: “Not too bad. I mean, it could have been worse: Avantasia could have been fourth-positioned. Or on #9. Or the pressing plant could have printed the wrong name on the CD. It's too dreadful to think about what could have happened if the 289 juggernauts with the first edition of the album got lost! But life doesn't take place in subjunctive: I'm ok with being a number two in the German album charts. It isn't as good as a number one, but a little bit better than a number three. And between you and me: This wonderful “The Wicked Symphony / Angel Of Babylon”-package has deserved it. All those beautiful pictures, the booklet, 22 hits, not to forget about the smashing box made of cardboard. And so on, and so forth! And of course the bunch of superb guest artists. The best, the greatest and most adorable guest musicians to work with. I owe this to you! And who do I have to thank for this, too? The fans, the best fans on earth. Thank you very, very, very much!"
